Made Me Watch: Falling down the staircase... into murder

Thanks to listener email from Alex, Leah finally gets Bryant to watch some true crime TV. With Netflix's recent revival of the Staircase documentary, it seemed fitting to discuss one of the most debated murders. Leah let's Bryant know ahead of time of the "conspiracy theory" involving this case, and Bryant incorrectly guesses what the conspiracy is throughout the episode.

The murder of Kathleen Peterson and trial of her husband, Michael Peterson, is one of the most bizarre true crime tales. We only watched the first episode, but Leah dips into Wikipedia to summarize the rest of the trials and the conspiracy theory and where Michael is now (if you want to watch the series first, stop at the 15 minute mark- it's all downhill with spoilers after that!)

Oh- and the conspiracy theory is not discussed on the documentary- even the updated episodes.
